ARE YOU READY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP WITH LOTI?

Many dedicated LoTi educators and Certified LoTi Mentors inquire each year about becoming a Certified National LoTi Trainer. If your commitment to the LoTi school improvement process involves taking your certification to the next level, plan on attending the next National LoTi Trainer Assessment Institute. The next upcoming National LoTi Trainer Assessment Institute will be held in Dover, DE, on December 1-3, 2008 at the John W. Collette Education Resource Center, 35 Commerce Way Suite 1, Dover, DE 19904-8228.

The National LoTi Trainer Assessment Institute is designed as a three-day assessment center to gauge your areas of strengths as a potential Certified National LoTi Trainer. The emphasis behind the Institute will be on the processes underlying powerful teaching and learning as well as skill development in the areas of planning effective staff development at the "Target Technology" level, conducting clinical observations, and delivering efficient professional development that supports 21st Century learning.

Four overall goals of certification are: (1) to refine the teaching innovation strategies used with your staff, (2) to promote higher levels of teaching innovation in the classroom, (3) to create an effective bridge between instruction, assessment, and technology use, and (4) to provide a data-driven approach to professional development planning at the building, district, and regional levels that support and align with the LoTi Implementation Model.
