The Collaborative Learning Environments online course explores online communication and collaboration tools using Web 2.0 technology for active student engagement. The culminating activity for this course has participants try out different free online collaboration tools as a precursor to transforming their own classrooms into collaborative learning environments. The timeline for any online course available in the LoTi Classroom can be adjusted according to the needs at your school/district. All courses in the LoTi Classroom are asynchronous; they do not require all participants to be logged into the course at the same time. The intent of the LoTi Classroom is to provide convenient, cost-efficient, high-quality professional development services for participants on their own time schedule.
