LCT I: LoTi Foundations and Pedagogy

The LoTi Classroom Teacher I: LoTi Foundations and Pedagogy online course provides a foundation for understanding the LoTi Framework and philosophy; and how that philosophy translates into improved student engagement. For each theme identified, participants will engage in activities designed to help them get focused, clarify understanding, explore pertinent resources/strategies, and connect to students. The culminating activity for this content series course is a student case study that integrates the course themes and provides the foundation for ongoing activities in the LCT course sequence. Themes in this content series include:

• Factors Influencing Student Success
• Learning Modalities
• Higher-Order Thinking Strategies
• LoTi Framework
• 21st Century Skills

The timeline for any online course available in the LoTi Classroom can be adjusted according to the needs at your school/district. All courses in the LoTi Classroom are asynchronous; they do not require all participants to be logged into the course at the same time. The intent of the LoTi Classroom is to provide convenient, cost-efficient, high-quality professional development services for participants on their own time schedule.

 

One LoTi Enrollment Voucher represents one course enrollment for one participant to any applicable LoTi Classroom course. LoTi Enrollment Vouchers are an easy way to save money while meeting the needs of all stakeholders, and each voucher may be used at any time for up to 13 months!
