EPiC™ Key Assessment

The Evaluating Pedagogy in the Classroom (EPiC™) Key Assessment is an empirically validated teacher candidate performance evaluation that focuses on pedagogy, coaching, and support to lead all teacher candidates to proficiency.

Multiple measures minimize the time needed for gathering and reporting quality data while highlighting valuable program preparation trends and recommendations. Candidate Survey

The empirically-validated LoTi Survey for Teacher Candidates collects teacher candidate self-assessment data on program perceptions and classroom technology integration practices—for multiple cohorts—at the beginning, middle, and end of the preparation program.

Candidate Observation

The EPP Candidate Observation uses simplified "look-fors" aligned to the InTASC Standards, the Danielson Framework for Teaching, the ISTE Standards, and the LoTi Framework to offer quick data collection during clinical experiences with robust, research-based results.

Candidate PD Support

The Candidate PD Portfolio provides candidates with personalized PD and a portfolio to collect evidence of completed professional development hours. Program administrators can recommend PD Byte modules to candidates and completers to provide specialized support & remediation.
